For the Win was created during the onset of the Covid Lockdowns in March of 2020 at what once was Papilles Bistro, a Michelin Bib Gourmand French restaurant. I’ve always wanted to serve burgers and fried chicken sandwiches for lunch and we had to change our concept to survive, so what better time to implement the new menu? Welcome to For the Win, where we pride ourselves in quality and craftsmanship for America’s favorite sandwich.

Wow this place blew my freaking mind and taste buds off the chart!! The chicken sandwich was ridiculously juicy and basically like yummy tender pieces thrown all together. I was shaking my head!!

If I could give this spot TEN STARS, I would!!! This smashburger is the best in the city IMO!! The seasoning of the meat is perfect. I loved the crispy edges of the patty that spilled over the buttery buns. I had a double cheeseburger. The cheese was ooey, gooey...melted perfectly.

Believe the hype. For the Win is starting up pop up in other cities in the LA metro including Whittier, Glendale, and more, and for good reason! Their smashburgers are delicious and filling! It has the perfect amount of crispiness to them, make it a really delicious meal.
